Extensive Training Ensures Quality For Clients

Landfare Ltd. staff have completed numerous training courses through The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals, receiving a Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) License for building swimming pools. This is not a requirement in Ohio but does reflect Landfare Ltd.’s professional approach to all their projects. To build the best you must have a team of highly trained professionals, and Landfare Ltd. invests in the training and education of our staff to offer only the best to our clients.

A pool may look very nice when completed but the quality and integrity are built underneath the pool. After digging the hole for the pool, we install a steel rebar floor before pouring concrete. These extra steps create a pool structure that will not shift due to hydrostatic pressure. Not all pool companies do that, but we know that our clients expect us to provide the best product, and we do.

Poured concrete walls are 12” thick and finished with Diamond Brite® plaster. Available in many aggregate finishes, this plaster lets us determine the color, brilliance and reflective properties of the pool water. Again, we select every finish to meet the design standards needed to enhance the entire landscape and outdoor living spaces for each home.

The Landfare Ltd. team builds in-ground swimming pools and spas throughout the year. In fact, building during the winter months ensures you will be enjoying your pool when the weather warms up.

Here you see the team, under a protective tent covering, install steel rebar used as reinforcement before concrete is poured. Because steel rebar can be bent we can design curves, angles and even steps to enhance your swimming pool.

The grid pattern is carefully calculated and installed, and tied or held in place to make sure there is no vibration or movement when the gunite (concrete) is poured. Gunite is projected at a pretty high velocity, and any movement in the grid pattern could effect the stability of the pool bottom.

The design and construction of your pool is part science, part engineering and a lot of hard work by our team of professionals.

Our client asked us to build a pool house for their new pool that our team is building. We discussed how they planned to use the pool house, what their family and guests might want, and then we got to work. This new structure is about 2000 SF with glass doors the fully open to the outside. It features a kitchen, bar area, great room with fireplace, laundry and heated floor. An amazing entertaining space!

Luxury Pool, A Must Have

The pool for this family is as luxurious as the pool house. This 18′ x 36′ in-ground pool will be surrounded by stonework that marries with the main house. Heated with salt water, it can be used throughout the year for entertaining and exercise.

Before construction begins, we meet with our clients to discuss their vision and dream list. Together we determine how they will most often use the pool, spa and surrounding areas: sports activities (like pool volleyball), leisure activities or active swimming and diving. Many of our clients ask us to design and build complete outdoor living and entertaining spaces: patios, pergolas, water features, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and, of course, gardens, planting beds and lush landscape. For many clients, a swimming pool, pool house and water play area fit in naturally with our designs and the client’s wish list. In the past, we worked with our sister company, Blu Pools & Spas, to design and build swimming pools for our clients.
